Purpose
A combination of restorative alignment to restore the spine, deep tissue bodywork to release all the tension, light yoga to reinforce your muscles, with an anti-inflammatory diet to work from the inside out with nutritional medicine, and meditation to reduce cortisol and break thought patterns causing the body to be tense.
This retreat is dedicated for those suffering from a long term injury that they want to finally improve. Physical pain can be debilitating and reduce our performance in life, and can even impact the enjoyment we can have on our free time. The goal is to send you back home feeling yourself as if you received a new body.
Activities
Yoga

When you control your body’s balance, you can attain control of what you say, think, and feel. This is the magical aspect of yoga, when you feel the progress of your practice reflected on the perception of your daily life. Yoga cultivates endurance and physical control, and conditions your spine, therefore preventing injuries. Also by stretching your muscles you create space for toxins to leave your body easily.
Yoga must be experienced in your own personal way, but nothing better than practicing next to the amazing Caribbean Sea.
Bodywork Massage
Massage encompasses many possibilities. Different approaches must be used to address different problems, and at given times a muscle has tension referred to another point. We explore the problem and aim for the root cause, as opposed to just trying to calm the symptoms.
Our main approach is a bodywork flow, making each session a unique experience, with spontaneous, organic touch. The foundation is Swedish massage, paired with acupressure, myofascial, ayurvedic, reflexology, lymph drainage, trigger point, active release, craniosacral, and deep tissue techniques.
Appropriate therapy is essential in the program. Mechanical force works your lymphatic system, muscles release toxins, your body recovers from yoga, and relaxation provides strength of spirit.
Meditation
To meditate is to be a witness, without grappling for control. We are conditioned to be in control, hence it becomes difficult to surrender oneself in meditation.
The practice of meditation is like going to the gym to build a muscle. Gradually you can feel something building towards clarity of mind: the awareness muscle.
Through awareness practice we decrease cortisol levels and stress. We encourage this also with a clean diet, decreasing blood toxins that reach the brain and unsettle the mind.
With dedication, you can bring all the benefits into the way you live your life, in a peaceful and intuitive way.

It has a large swimming pool on 1st floor and private hot tub in some options with penthouse area.
