Our team

The people who hold the space

A retreat is only as good as the people in the room. Ours is a small, named team that has worked together for years: a founder who still runs every retreat, a medical doctor, a temazcal keeper, and guides for sound, cacao, yoga and bodywork.

  • About one team member for every three guests
  • Facilitators present for the whole ceremony
  • Hosting retreats in Playa del Carmen since 2013
Juan Rendon, founder of Life Synergy Retreat
Founder and lead facilitator

Juan Rendon

Since 2013 Juan has been shaping every detail of Life Synergy: the flow of each program, the menus, the places we stay. His background spans physical therapy, yoga, bodywork, nutrition and event management, and it shows in how welcome guests feel from the first message to the last breakfast.

He leads the psilocybin retreat in Playa del Carmen personally and is in the room for every ceremony. Every guest is screened before acceptance and followed up with a one-to-one integration call after the retreat.

Facilitators and guides

Each person below has a specific role on the retreat, so you always know who is holding which part of the week.

Tatiana Raduga playing guitar
Host · Sound healing

Tatiana Raduga

Your host through the week, and the voice behind the sound journeys. For more than a decade Tatiana has travelled the world studying yoga, meditation and the wisdom of sacred plants. She plays a range of instruments and has shaped her own style of sound healing that reaches people deeply.

Sadi Cedillo blowing a conch shell
Temazcal ceremony

Sadi Cedillo

A keeper of the temazcal tradition, Sadi learned from his grandmother, who introduced him to sweat lodges and plant medicine. For decades he has guided ceremonies that are both powerful and gentle, often accompanied by songs in Nahuatl, and welcomes everyone with warmth and authenticity.

Michelle Solis
Cacao ritual · Energy work

Michelle Solis

A cacao ritual facilitator and energy healer, Michelle brings deep presence to the circle. She accompanies the plant medicine ceremonies with aromatherapy, body and energy work, holding the space with traditional chants.

Dr. Mauricio Bussoli
Medical doctor

Dr. Mauricio Bussoli, MD

Mauricio supports the medical Q&A and medication screening, and advises on nutrition, supplements and overall wellbeing. He accompanies the first threshold session, watching each guest's response so the journey stays safe and supported.

Zail Kaur
Kundalini yoga · Meditation

Zail Kaur

A certified Kundalini yoga teacher, Zail leads the sunrise meditation and yoga sessions that open each day. Her practices reset natural rhythms and settle the nervous system. For Zail, yoga is a lifestyle rather than a routine, shared with joy and devotion.

Verónica Franco
Massage · Bodywork

Verónica Franco

Originally from Mexico City, Verónica is a former professional dancer who brings movement and body awareness into her healing practice. On retreat she offers massage and aromatherapy sessions that release tension and ground the body, supporting integration on a physical level.

How we work

Screened before, supported during, called after

Every guest completes health and medication questions and a screening call before being accepted. Facilitators stay with the group for the whole ceremony, and a one-to-one integration call follows the retreat.

Small groups on purpose

Up to 11 guests on the psilocybin retreat, with about one team member for every three guests. Enough people to feel a circle, few enough that nobody gets lost in it.

Tradition, held carefully

The temazcal and cacao ceremonies are led by people raised in those traditions. We treat them as practices to respect, not products to package.

Meet us before you decide

A discovery call is a conversation with the people above, not a sales script. Bring your questions; we will tell you honestly whether a retreat is right for you now.
